Polymer markets as of 10 May 2026 continued to show signs of correction, with most grades reporting negative monthly trends despite maintaining strong quarterly and yearly gains. PP Raffia closed at 126.50, up marginally by 0.40% weekly, but down -13.36% monthly. The grade still posted 32.46% quarterly and 36.02% yearly gains, trading 57.14% above its yearly low of 80.50 (16 November 2025), though remaining -24.93% below its high of 168.50 recorded on 9 March 2026. LLDPE slipped to 130.00, declining -0.76% weekly and -10.03% monthly, while maintaining 35.42% quarterly and 42.86% yearly growth. Prices are 55.69% above the yearly low of 83.50 (30 November 2025) but still -16.93% below the yearly high of 156.50 on 9 March 2026. HDPE BM eased slightly to 147.50, down -0.34% weekly and -3.59% monthly, though it continued to show strong 62.09% quarterly and 70.52% yearly gains. The grade remains 79.88% above its yearly low of 82.00 (12 December 2025) and only -6.35% below its peak of 157.50 recorded on 27 March 2026. LDPE edged up to 153.50, gaining 0.66% weekly, but still down -2.54% monthly. It posted 40.18% quarterly and 35.84% yearly gains, trading 48.31% above its yearly low of 103.50 (29 December 2025) while remaining -10.50% below its high of 171.50 on 11 March 2026. PVC declined to 77.50, recording the sharpest weekly fall of -6.63% along with a -2.52% monthly decline. However, the grade maintained 7.64% quarterly and 15.67% yearly growth, standing 28.10% above its yearly low of 60.50 (7 December 2025), though still -35.95% below its peak of 121.00 recorded on 11 March 2026.
