Fuel Supply Constraints May Impact Vehicle Placement and Delivery Timelines
Dear PolyMart Buyers, Ongoing Iran-US tensions and rising crude oil prices have created pressure on fuel supply and transport operations. In India, petrol and diesel prices have not increased in the same proportion as crude oil, helping avoid sudden pressure on consumers. However, if the situation continues for longer, oil PSUs may face pressure to revise prices and manage supply more strictly. At several fuel stations, diesel is reportedly being supplied in limited quantity in one filling cycle. This is creating longer waiting time for trucks and more frequent fuel stops during transit. As a result, the market is seeing temporary vehicle availability issues and delayed vehicle placement. PolyMart is also experiencing slightly longer transit time on some routes due to repeated diesel refilling by vehicles. Our logistics team is working closely with transport partners to manage deliveries as efficiently as possible. So far, we are successfully handling the situation and making every effort to deliver material on time. We request our valued buyers to keep a little extra inventory wherever possible. Customers are also requested to plan orders slightly in advance to avoid any stock-out or production disruption. Please ensure quick unloading of reported vehicles once they reach your premises. Faster unloading will help release empty vehicles back into the market and improve vehicle availability. PolyMart remains committed to timely supply, transparent updates and continued support to all buyers.
