India’s polymer market has entered a clear upward cycle as leading petrochemical producers—including Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), Haldia Petrochemicals, Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), and Supreme Petrochemicals—have announced widespread price hikes effective February 1, 2026.
Reliance Industries Leads the Uptrend
Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) announced an across-the-board increase in polymer prices, citing firm market conditions and rising cost pressures.

PP: Increased by ₹2.5 per kg
PVC: Increased by ₹2 per kg
In a separate move, RIL also raised PP deemed export prices by ₹4 per kg, reflecting stronger global demand and elevated export-linked cost pressures.
Haldia Petrochemicals Revises Domestic Prices
Haldia Petrochemicals implemented a uniform price increase across key polymer segments:
HDPE: +₹2,500 per MT
LLDPE: +₹2,500 per MT
PP: +₹2,500 per MT
The revision applies to all domestic grades effective February 1, 2026.
Supreme Petrochemicals Raises GPPS & HIPS Prices
Supreme Petrochemicals Ltd (SPL) announced a sharp hike in styrenic polymers:
GPPS & HIPS: Increased by ₹3,000 per MT across all grades
IOCL Increases PP and PE Prices.
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) also joined the upward revision trend:
