What the Market Data Shows

Weekly polymer movement is mixed, with PP and LDPE easing, LLDPE remaining unchanged, and HDPE and PVC moving higher.

The broader picture remains firmer: all five polymers are above their monthly and yearly reference levels, although the magnitude varies considerably across grades.

PVC stands out in the latest weekly data, rising 2.60%, while its quarterly movement of 30.06% is also the strongest among the five polymers tracked.

Crude has eased 2.15% from the weekly reference, but remains 7.02% above its monthly reference, keeping global energy and feedstock costs important signals to watch.

PolyMart Perspective

For procurement decisions, buyers should continue tracking crude and feedstock direction, producer price revisions, global supply-demand conditions, and open-market price movement rather than relying on any single indicator.
