Domestic PET Price Revision

Domestic PET resin prices have been revised upward by ₹5,000/MT, effective 18 September 2026.

Buyers should reconfirm current offers and compare the revised basic price with freight, payment terms and other charges to evaluate the final delivered cost.

China Polymer Futures

China polymer futures recorded a rebound on 16 September after weakening during the middle of the observed period.

  • PP: 1,170 → 1,184
PP recorded the strongest final-day recovery, increasing by 15 points from its previous level.
  • LLDPE: 1,132 → 1,131
LLDPE recovered by 6 points on 16 September but remained nearly unchanged compared with 12 September.
  • PVC: 662 → 644
PVC also recovered by 6 points on the final day but remained below its 12 September level.

PolyMart Perspective

The market is showing mixed signals. PET prices have moved higher despite softer crude and USD/INR, while China’s polymer futures remain divided—PP rebounded, LLDPE stayed largely stable, and PVC remained below its 12 September level.

For buyers, compare delivered costs, monitor producer revisions and maintain balanced inventory rather than relying on a single market indicator.
