Polymer prices ended the week higher across all five major grades. PP recorded the strongest weekly increase, while elevated crude oil prices continued to support firm replacement costs.

Key Market Highlights
- All five polymers closed higher during the week.
- PP led the weekly rise with a gain of 6.67%.
- PP also recorded the strongest yearly increase at 75.20%.
- PVC showed strong momentum, rising 13.90% monthly and 22.48% quarterly.
- HDPE remained the weakest on a quarterly basis, declining 10.82%.
Brent Crude Movement
Brent crude increased from $96.28/bbl on 4 September to $104.61/bbl on 11 September, recording a weekly gain of 8.65%.
Crude reached a weekly high of $107.63/bbl before declining 2.81% on 11 September. Despite the final-day correction, prices remained well above the previous week’s closing level.
